So, this past spring, Dan and I went to a trivia night for Jack's school. There is also an oral and silent auction held there. To make a long story short, Dan and I ended up winning Rams tickets...or should I say Giants tickets. Since Dan is originally from NJ and a HUGE Giants fan, he was thrilled that we were just four rows from the field. I cheered on the Rams, but to no avail as they were slaughtered by the Giants. Dan and I had a great time though! I absolutely LOVE my boys, but every once in a while it is nice to do something, just the two of us!
This picture SO reminds me of the good ole days when it was just Dan and I and we would ALWAYS snap a picture like this!
Here are the Rams warming up...they actually look like a well oiled machine, all doing the same thing...that unfortunately, didn't last too long!
Prior to the game, Ozzie Smith (that's him with his back faced to the camera in the gray sweatshirt!) was given a Rams jersey as he was the announcer for the Rams as they ran through the smoke into the very loud and very dark arena.
One of MANY Giants touchdowns...right in front of us...Dan was in heaven!!!
One last shot for good measure, just to remember how darn close we were. Unfortunately both of us agreed that we would rather be sitting at home drinking our (much cheaper!) beer and relaxing in front of the big screen watching the same thing!!!

I don't know about wanting to be home watching the Giants beat the Rams 41-13 (the exact score was missing from my lovely wife's post :) ), because being there seeing my team win a game impressively, when I don't see the NY/NJ guys around here very much, was extremely awesome.
It's just that the seats were end-zone seats, in the Rams "season ticket area," and you couldn't see much during the game except the Rams' entry to the field, the Rams' warmup, and oh, about half the Giants' touchdowns (ha ha). And the Giants did score 3 touchdowns on the opposite end in the fourth quarter to wrap up the game. Yada, yada, yada, I know...
Overall, though, it was a great date with my wife, and I wouldn't have traded it for anything.
Love ya, Amy!

AWESOME! Dang - you guys WERE close! I'm sure Dan was in heaven!
Lets not forget to thank Steve and Jackie for babysittin' the boyz- jk. They were crazy that weekend! What did you feed them before you left? Seriously though, it was fun watching the boys. They are rowdy, funny, smart, relentless and conniving all at once. They are a handful, but an absolute blessing. Glad you guys had a good time at the game. You should have Jackie and I babysit more often before its too late...
