Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Sorry for the LONG gap in blogs recently! The month of May is super crazy with two of my three boys celebrating birthdays, Mother's Day, the end of school and Memorial day festivities! Now that I'm done with school, I'm hoping to get all caught up quickly!!!

Another item I should have listed above is all of the baseball games and practices I have been hauling the boys too! It seems that we are playing baseball almost every night of the week! Here are some shots from Jack's first game - a "practice" game against the other Mascoutah team.

Here is Jack - ready at third base! Check out that stance! Oh yeah, and he thinks he is A - Rod - the Yankees third baseman!
And here he is on deck...he did tend to swing at everything, as did the majority of the players! They have started pitching to each other now - no more coach pitch - so games are kind of 'interesting' at times!!!
Nick and Luke managed to keep themselves busy! Here they are playing in the dirt - with the "rocks!"
And when they got tired of that, we sprung for the best $1 spent of the day - a slushy that kept the boys happy and calm for the remaining hour of the two hour game!
With all the rain we have had though, so many games were canceled and have been rescheduled for later this month! My fingers are crossed that the rain will stay away so we can get some more games in!
