5k FUN!!!

Most of you know of my attempt to participate and actually RUN in 5K races. My third race was Saturday and I didn't want to go alone (as my running friend was on vacation!) Luckily, my fabulous sister stepped in! Jackie has been training for this for just about a month.

Here we are at the beginning of the race! Thanks to Uncle Steve for highlighting us...
Here I am crossing the finish line! Memo to myself....get yourself some SMOOTH running ensembles!!!
Jackie stayed with me for the first 2 miles and then she slowed just a bit (but finished not even a full minute after me, so she did amazing, for just having started back to running!!!)
And here we are...our first race completed! Now, I'm trying to talk her into doing the half marathon with me this December!!! :)
