I'm moving closer and closer to REAL time - you know, NOVEMBER, but here are some more fun snapshots and stories from our summer! One morning we headed out to my Aunt Joyce and Uncle Gene's house for some farm fun! Our first stop was a visit with the pig!!! Here, Nick is posed in front of little piggy!
We then walked around their pond and watched all the bullfrogs "fly" into the water! There were TONS of them!!!
Uncle Gene wasn't content with the boys simply watching them jump into the pond - he wanted to help the boys CATCH one! Here they are getting their lure in order!
And in a matter of minutes - Uncle Gene had a bullfrog in hand - that stayed in his hand, as the boys were a bit intimidated by such a big frog.
After all this work, they were a bit hungry, so they decided to pick a few apples - again thanks to Uncle Gene for helping!
Aunt Joyce was there the entire time snapping pictures!!! :)
Until, that is, it was time to go into the garden and pick cucumbers!
Next they went for a little drive...in this jeep!!! I was a TINY bit nervous, but the three boys LOVED riding with Uncle Gene! Jack is in the front seat - that is why you don't see his head!
That spun into "playing" with TONS of different vehicles! Here is the first one - the tractor!
And...ANOTHER tractor!!! WOW - the boys were up SO high!!! Aunt Joy and I were both nervous - but again, Uncle Gene took great care of my boys!
And finally, the last vehicle was cousin Ed's tree service truck!!!
We had such an AMAZING day - I can't wait to go back and visit again! Thanks Aunt Joy and Uncle Gene for such a great morning!
