Yesterday we celebrated my mom and her twin sister's birthday...at Nana and Papa's house and she sure did make a GREAT lasagna! Thanks, Nana! I have been sick since Wednesday and Aunt Jackie and Uncle Steve were getting back from a short roadtrip to Paducah, KY for a friend's engagement party (congrats Cheryl!) so Nana graciously offered to have her birthday dinner at her house!
Here are the birthday girls! Jack asked me how old they are...I told him that I wasn't sure and he comes out with, oh, they are 5?, b/c last year they were 5?. What a smart boy! ;)
Here Uncle Gene and Nick pose...
Nana and Papa...still such a cute couple!
Aunt Joy, me, Aunt Jackie and Nana all pose...notice who is on the tv in the background? We were so engrossed in watching the interview with the pilot that landed the plane in the Hudson River that we sang, "Happy Birthday" and opened presents and such quickly on commercials! (Doesn't Jackie look cute? She is at 30 weeks and baby is definitely growing!)
The boys helped the birthday girls blow out their candles. Notice that Luke is missing? Poor guy didn't get a nap yesterday until like 5...so he missed out on the candles but awoke just in time to eat! :)Happy Birthday to two wonderful women! I can honestly say that I am the woman I am today b/c of the two of you and of course, your wonderful mom, Grandma Trumpet! (Love ya, G!)
