Summer of Sno Cones!

After a week hanging with Nana and Alyssa, Dan and I decided to take the boys out and about to the circus that was in a nearby town! My cousin Sandy met up with us to join in on the fun - since her husband and two girls aren't interested in seeing the circus anymore! Fun it was...well, and also crowded and HOT!!!

All the clowns...all the clowns that my three boys wanted nothing to do with. Jack just said he was too old - what the heck, he is 8 - and neither Nick or Luke were brave enough to let me snap their pic with one of the fine looking fellows!
We saw some pretty cool acts, but this was one of our faves...the flying girls and motorcycle!!!
Did I mention it was hot??? All three boys LOVED their sno cones!!! (I don't think I have typed the word "sno cone" so many times as I have the past few days...this has certainly been the Summer of Sno Cones!)

Dan wanted to cool off a bit too and we got to talking about ice cream shops! We still need to take Sandy up on her offer to go to Crown Candy for some delish ice cream sometime, but in the meantime we settled with walking across the street to McDonalds!!! It may have been hot, but it certainly was fun! I can't wait for the circus to come back to town next year...if only it could be in the spring or fall!!! :)
