Since living in NJ and visiting the city fairly often, Dan and I have a decent feel for moving around the city! Because this was the boys' first time there (well, at least Jack's first time that he remembers!) we opted to hit all the touristy places in Times Square!
Our first stop was Radio City Music! (Thanks to Kristin to taking all these pics of the whole fam!)
We walked just a few blocks away to Rockefeller Center, as Jack wanted to see where we were on T.V.
The ice skating rink is now a beautiful outdoor eatery!
And here we are with a straight on shot of the statue there! We could easily move as there still weren't many people out and about at such an early hour on a Saturday morning! We didn't even hit many street vendors either, which was nice!
While we were at the Today show earlier that morning I saw a large Pikachu (a character from Pokemon!) Turns out it was in a big Nintendo World store! Of course we had to venture in! Here is the lovely little character with Jack and Nick!
Nintendo World was pretty cool. They had Wiis set up and tables of DSis available to play. The boys were all about buying their New York souvenior here, so they bellied up their birthday money for new DSi games...Pokemon ones, of course! Jack, Dan and even Luke have fun with the handheld games!
By now, it was already 10:30 and time to hit the subway to head to the Bronx!!!
